Cars.com senior editor Mike Hanley wrote a glowing review of the 2016 Honda HR-V. Hanley points out that in the new HR-V you’ll find more legroom in the back seats and more cargo room with those seats folded down than essentially every other model in this class. He says that the HR-V offers “one of the roomiest – and most configurable – interiors in the class.”

Automobile editor Joseph Capparella said, “The more you look at the 2016 Honda HR-V in the context of Honda’s lineup, the more compelling it gets. For a similar price and only a small fuel-economy penalty compared with the Civic or the Fit, the 2016 Honda HR-V offers more cargo space, available all-wheel drive, a high seating position that everyone seems to love, and a more cocooned driving experience. It’s also more maneuverable, more efficient, and less expensive than the CR-V.” It’s easy to see why the HR-V is a natural fit into the Honda lineup.

Over at Car and Driver, Joe Lorio had a lot to say about the new HR-V. He commented that with “the Honda’s impressive fuel economy, above-its-station interior, and attractive pricing…it’s clear that the HR-V delivers on the aspects that are likely to resonate with a wide swath of buyers in this segment.” He added that “Honda should have another hit on its hands.”
