2. Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM): We’ve all been there—a momentary distraction, fatigue, or reaching for a fallen item causes the car to drift toward the shoulder. Unlike other systems that just provide a warning, RDM can provide steering assistance to gently guide the vehicle back into the detected lane. If the drift is too severe or the road marking is about to be completely crossed, the system can even apply light braking. 3. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow: Perfect for the stop-and-go drive to Seattle or Spokane, ACC is cruise control evolved.
